Ionisers
- A401, A403 & A404
The
401 ionizing bar is designed for simplicity and durability
incorporating an efficiently basic method of inductive coupling
of the high voltage electrode pins.
By non direct coupling the A401 offers shock proof operation
for personnel safety and comfort, this does not impact on
the bars capacity to neutralize stubborn static charges.
The bar is constructed from an extruded anodized aluminium
U section in which the blue ABS electrode segments are flitted.
Each electrode segment is fitted with two stainless steel
electrode pins, the length of each segment is 20mm.
The bar has two 20mm long isolating blocks, one at each end
of the bar, this means that the overall length of bar will
have a total of 40mm of non active length regardless of size.
The smallest active bar could therefore in theory be only
60mm in length, although we insert on our smallest bar, two
electrode segments making the smallest bar we offer 80mm in
length, the maximum 4000mm.

Model
A403 is an extremely powerful, high performance static eliminator
bar. The A403 bar has a hot design, whereby the electrode pins
are directly connected to the high voltage supply. Whilst
this gives a very strong field of ionisation if the electrode
pins are touched, the operator will receive a small shock.
The current consumption of A403 is approximately 200ua per
metre. This is about 400% higher than the A401shockless bar.
The theoretical output of A403 is 400% higher than the A401.
Whilst an operator touching the electrodes whilst connected
can receive an unpleasant shock, there is no physical danger
as the current output is limited in a maximum of 5 milliamps.

The
404 air assist ionizing bar is designed for simplicity and durability
incorporating an efficiently basic method of inductive coupling
of the high voltage electrode pins.
By non direct coupling the A404 offers shock proof operation
for personnel safety and comfort, this does not impact on the
bars capacity to neutralize stubborn static charges.
The bar is constructed from an extruded anodized aluminium reinforced
cylindrical section in which the blue ABS electrode segments
are flitted. Each electrode segment is fitted with two stainless
steel electrode pins, the length of each segment is 20mm. The
bar has two isolating blocks at each end of the bar one 25mm
the other 42mm, this means that the overall length of bar will
have a total of 67mm of non active length regardless of size.
The smallest active bar could therefore in theory be only 87mm
in length, although we insert on our smallest bar, two electrode
segments making the smallest bar we offer 107mm in length, the
maximum 1000mm.
The A404 has an additional internal air duct and active face
air discharge ports. Fitting compressed air at 2 bar pressure
will extend the bars range from 25mm up to 500mm.
